This website sets no cookies at all. Here is what that means, what happens when you click through to a shop, and how to refuse cookies anyway.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, usually so it can recognise you again later. Most commercial websites use them heavily. This one does not use them at all.
What this site sets
Nothing. Giftz sets no cookies of any kind: no essential cookies, no preference cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. It also uses no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixels and no browser fingerprinting.
We can say that plainly because of how the site is built. It is a set of static pages. There is no login, no shopping basket, no comment system and no personalisation, so there is nothing for a cookie to remember.
Third party scripts
There are none. This site runs no analytics service, no tag manager, no advertising network, no heatmap tool, no chat widget and no social media embeds. Even the typefaces are stored on this site rather than loaded from another company, so no font service sees your visit either.
That is why there is no cookie consent banner here. A banner asking you to accept cookies that do not exist would be theatre.
What happens when you click a link to a shop
This is the part that matters. When you follow a link from this site to a shop or another website, you leave this site. That other company can and almost certainly will set its own cookies on its own website.
Where a link is an affiliate link, the shop or the affiliate network it works with may set a cookie recording that you arrived through us, so that any commission is credited correctly. That cookie belongs to them, is set on their domain, and is governed by their policies rather than ours. Our affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement in plain terms.
We never see, read or receive the contents of those cookies, and we do not receive your name, contact details, payment details or order details.
How to refuse or remove cookies
Because this site sets none, there is nothing here to refuse. For cookies set by shops and other websites you visit, you can control them in your browser. Every major browser lets you block third party cookies, block all cookies, delete cookies already stored, or browse in a private window that discards them when you close it.

- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies will not stop this site working, because it does not rely on them. It may affect how shops and other sites behave.
