How Giftz uses browser security checks, and what happens when you follow a link to a retailer.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, usually so it can recognise you again later. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
What this site sets
Giftz does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Search and filter settings stay in the page URL. Vercel BotID may use essential browser security signals or storage to verify shopping requests and prevent automated affiliate clicks.
Third party scripts
Vercel supplies our BotID security script through this site. We run no advertising network, analytics service, heatmap, chat widget or social media embed. Fonts are stored on this site.
Product photographs and search
Product photographs are loaded from NetFlorist’s image servers. Those requests send technical information to that provider, as explained in our privacy policy. We do not embed a retailer shopping widget or tracking script. Search settings are kept in the page URL, not in cookies or browser storage.
What happens when you click a link to a shop
This is the part that matters. When you follow a link from this site to a shop or another website, you leave this site. That other company can and almost certainly will set its own cookies on its own website.
Where a link is an affiliate link, the shop or the affiliate network it works with may set a cookie recording that you arrived through us, so that any commission is credited correctly. That cookie belongs to them, is set on their domain, and is governed by their policies rather than ours. Our affiliate disclosure explains the arrangement in plain terms.
We never see, read or receive the contents of those cookies, and we do not receive your name, contact details, payment details or order details.
How to refuse or remove cookies
Our bot protection may use essential browser security signals or storage. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. For cookies set by shops and other websites you visit, you can control them in your browser. Every major browser lets you block third party cookies, block all cookies, delete cookies already stored, or browse in a private window that discards them when you close it.

- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
You can still browse and use direct retailer links if browser security checks are unavailable. It may affect how shops and other sites behave.
